The mental health practice of Everest Functional Health
Everest Functional Psychiatry & Wellness
Your symptoms are real, and they have causes. We combine conventional psychiatric care, including diagnosis and medication when it helps, with a careful look at what may be driving symptoms underneath.
Same team, same approach. Formerly known as Everest Functional Psychiatry & Wellness, now part of a bigger practice.

Common questions
Do you prescribe medication?
Yes, when it's appropriate for you. Some medications have additional requirements, and we'll talk through what's available for your situation.
Can I keep my therapist?
Yes. We're glad to coordinate with your therapist, with your permission.
Can you help me reduce my medications?
Yes, in a safe and controlled way. If reducing or coming off a medication is right for you, we create a gradual, supervised tapering plan and support your body and mind throughout. Please don't stop or change a medication on your own.
Can genetic testing show which medications may work better for me?
It can help. Pharmacogenomic testing looks at genes that affect how your body breaks down and responds to certain medications. Results can point to options and doses that may suit you better and flag ones more likely to cause side effects. We use it alongside your history and symptoms, not on its own.
Do you take insurance?
We are out of network with insurance, but we do accept HSA and FSA cards and can provide superbills upon request for possible out-of-network benefits.
Where do you see patients?
We provide ongoing care for patients in Texas, Arizona, Oregon and Washington; you need to be in one of those states at the time of each visit. Living somewhere else? We offer consultations in other states.
